"Dream big." Ritamen hear that from day one at St. Rita's Bernard J. Delgiorno Campus at 7740 S. Western Avenue. Dreaming about accomplishing great things is one piece of the puzzle. The other is working hard. Three Ritamen who have dreamed big and worked hard over the last four years are St. Rita football players Ray Bouye and Louis Cox, and golfer Kevin Healy. On Friday, May 4, 2018 they all gathered in the St. Rita board room to sign letters of intent to continue in athletic competition in college. Bouye will attend St. Ambrose University where he will be a member of the football team. Cox plans to attend Davidson College as a football player and Healy will be a golfer at Carthage College. Head of School, Fr. Paul Galetto, O.S.A. led the ceremony with a hearty, "Congratulations!" to the students, parents and family members. President Mike Zunica followed by reminding the students that they are always welcome back to campus. Principal Brendan Conroy gave the Ritamen a message that he will personally miss them. Finally, before the signing and some photos, Athletic Director Roshawn Russell '08 said, "Thank you to the parents for making a commitment to St. Rita High School by sending your sons here and being involved. Our goal in the athletic department is to help student athletes achieve their dreams and continue on to the collegiate level."
